BOXT GIVES BACK PARTNERS WITH BOO2BULLYING
May 22, 2022 @ 8:00 am - June 23, 2022 @ 5:00 pm
BOXT, the female-founded and run, venture-backed, luxury fine wine company that gives back, is excited to announce its newest social-good partnership with Boo2Bullying.
Boo2Bullying seeks to eradicate bullying, intolerance and discrimination by educating kids, schools and parents about accepting diversity and giving young people the tools to connect with, and positively impact, those around them.
BOXT Gives Back partners with individuals and organizations in order to donate a portion of all sales to their partners’ chosen charities, causes or nonprofit organizations.
“I know we’re making an impact in 95% of the kids we reach,” said Dimitri Halkidis, founder of Boo2Bullying. “A lot of these kids don’t have the foundation to succeed in the world. Bullying affects everyone, whether you are poor or rich, and it can destroy a whole community,” said Halkidis.
“I am thrilled to be teaming up with the eco-friendly wine company, BOXT, in their efforts to give back to the community. It was with great excitement to announce our partnership with Boo2Bullying, an organization that has had my heart for a decade now. Every dollar counts when running an organization and we are grateful to the BOXT team in recognizing the importance of what we do and using their platform in delicious, eco-friendly wine to help combat bullying. Being of Italian heritage, wine is something I have always had a passion for. My father and I always talked about having our own vineyard one day. I think this is such a fun way to shed light on our work while introducing people to a female founded and led wine company that not only helps the environment in the work they do but gives back in the process,” said Cassandra Scerbo, Actress and Vice President of Boo2Bullying.
The BOXT ethos revolves around three things: simplifying the way we all enjoy a glass of wine at home, helping the environment and giving back. “Giving back has always been one of my own personal values and creating BOXT Gives Back is a reflection of that and the BOXT core values,” said BOXT founder, Sarah Puil.
“I have a young daughter who just started school this year and it’s so important today with all of the pressures kids face to have somewhere safe they can go to help them cope with bullying. I am thrilled to be partnering with Boo2Bullying,” said Puil.

Founded in 2012 by Dimitri Halkidis and a group of volunteers, Boo2Bullying presents assemblies and after school programs that engage students by creating a space where they feel safe to share their stories. “We are not about slideshows or clinical statistics; Instead we engage children and teens in interactive, healing dialogue to overcome the many forms of bullying. Halkidis says. “I’m blessed that we have the ability to give kids the power to share. Kids need a voice and positive values to model.”
